THE OPPONENT

The Opponent is a six-part docuseries that aired late evenings on Rai3 starting on Monday 5th June. Marco Tardelli interviews six extraordinary sportsmen and sportswomen – Antonio Cassano, Roberto Mancini, Federica Pellegrini, Lea Pericoli, Michel Platini and Franco Menichelli – who talk about their opponents, the difficulties and inner demons they had to overcome in their careers both on and off the pitch, on their way to success.
